One Air lifted with critical burns
3-21-2011
A 69 year old Dade County man was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center, Saturday afternoon after he caught on fire while burning brush.
Dade County Sheriff Patrick Cannon said the 69 year old along with one other was injured when they tried assist to putting out the fire. The incident at 3138 Scenic HWY in the New Salem Community. According to reports the 69 year old was flown the Burn Unit in Augusta for treatment.

Spent a little time in the Barber shop yesterday and learned a great deal about this next years election for Sheriff. Seems the word is really beginning to spread about this "New Young Man" who's running this next time. Even with all the "Cheerleading" coming from next door (Tha Fluffer) most folks think that the time has come for yet another CHANGE in Leadersip for the Sheriff's Dept.
