While the bride and I were riding around (Sunday Drive), I happen to pass by the four-feilds to see some construction equipment on County Property down by the "Ryan Rd" on the lower end. Not sure if the County is "Breaking Ground" on it's commitment of the animal shelter or not. Just seemed strange that no media has made mention or for that fact any local commissioners since it's on County Property! Looks as if some clearing has taken place since I could see lots of limestone rock and dirt moved......

I bet you're right. I had forgotton about the "Swap" with the Forestry Dept. so does that mean we can get a puppy and a permit at the same location??? lol...lol...lol....

My GOSH, I just wasn't thinking on this issue. I had wondered WHY after all the heck that was givin to Ben Brandon on the issue of property at the 4-feilds to the animal shelter cause and to WHY wasn't anything said about giving the property over to the Forestry Dept. I am not positive that it's the SAME property but I believe that it is. After careful thinking, (Yea Right) I happen to remember that it was a "Land Swap"! So does that mean that the Animal Shelter will be built on the Site of the ole Forestry Dept. property??? I still believe in an animal shelter but I have seen to much "politics" played on this issue. It's not about the animals as much as it's about the people who are in charge. Sad thing is also is that now that the economy is so bad that we just can't afford as taxpayers to fund it....
