Nothing personal against Nathan but… He was rejected by the voters of the county and to put him back without an election would be a slap in the face to the voters of this county.

No matter the reason rejection is rejection. If a person runs again and is elected well and good but untill that happens,they should not be concidered for and appointment to a seat they were defeated for. Like I said it is not personal and if Nathan ran again in all likelyhood I would concider voting for him but until that happens... no way.

Oh, I understand but now is the time for someone who knows a little more about the School System than a newbe coming in who is as cold on the facts as a cube of ice. That's another issue I have with politics here in Dade County. HHMMM sounds good, even though I have NO CLUE about what's going on "I think I'll run for that seat"... We see that ain't working... And we seen the "Anti-Nathan" vote worked out well for Dade County didn't it?????? What about two years?

Mickey Mouse could be appointed to the school board and nothing would change anything. School boards are only “Window Dressing” to make local people “Feel” they have control over the local school system. The reality is they don’t and we don’t... the Federal and State Government has the say as to how local schools are run. So if you think the local school board has control over the school system… you must have gotten a pair of “Rose Colored Glasses and pair of Ruby Slippers”

You are right about that. So let's put ole Mickey on the School Board and the rest of the Gang as County Commission.... I mean after all it's looks like Disney here now....

Well Rex you have hit on something here... Why not let the Commissioners be the School board too... After all they have the Water Board and who knows what else so the School Board would be a natural progression that way we could have All the Power in one place...You know like a dictatorship...

That way we can keep out everone but those who stop at the Georgia Game Park... Oh wait... We don't have that anymore but when we did, we sure liked them out-of-towners spendin their money at "Our Place"!
