I have been going through my head some of the unfinished projects that are just out there sitting. For the ones on the splost list it would just probably take one person to sue the county. The splost case law is pretty straight forward. We have the ever popular Animal Control facility at the four fields. Speaking of the four fields we also have a multi purpose building that needs to be built. That was from the last splost. They might be considering that restroom at the soccer fields as multipurpose. (You could do your business and wash your hands.) And why we are on the soccer field the next project that comes to mind was the pavillion that the sheriff was building down there. I tried to find a link to the post when we talked about it but couldn't. So let's stay on the Sheriff. I guess the jail kitchen is still in the construction phase. I did get a robo call from the school that said adults could purchase meals for a couple of bucks. I have always held this was the cheapest option for the jail. Even if it was just when they were in school and just for a breakfast and lunch meal. I still bet a deal could have been struck to save the county money. I guess there are some other minor things at the new city convention center. It needs sod. I haven't heard has the adoption room been finished? If you know of any unfinished projects or got comments post below.

They can't collect enough taxes to pay for what has already been spent (bonded)............ Sure we all know what the law says... But wait and see what happens with that law when alot of other counties can't collect what was "Projected"!

The City will never see the D.O.T Street Scape money... (Even though I got to hold the fake check) And the DDA will never see the Creek Walk happen either, even though Chatt. plans on making the River Walk into St. Elmo. But one thing is for sure we will continue to see more new toys for tha boys and not much else for the taxpayers.

I can't remember the total of Bonded money in the last S.P.L.O.S.T but it's way up there. Between the IDA and the City, 911, Some (not all Fire Depts) seems I am missing a couple but I remember it's a large sum.
