Today according to the Georgia Historical Society the City Charter was repealed back in 1904. http://www.georgiahistory.com/fcalendar ... 8/13/#2218 At one time the city was flourishing. Ted Rumley showed me a labble bottle of wiskey years ago. The city had a newspaper, water pipes, and a large steel industry. After about the time the steel industry shut down so did everythings else. This is kind of releavant to our history in Trenton today. You can read more about the birth, life and death of Rising Fawn here: http://dadecountyhb.wordpress.com/un_ed ... istory-of/ I am glad the city leaders of Trenton seem to be forward thinking and appear to be trying to not let this happen to Trenton.
