Now that the "Offical Announcement" has been made that our very own County Commissioner Robert Goff will not follow in his fellow Commissioner Ted Rumley footsteps to seek the office of State Rep. we can all now get back to hoping that someone can be the voice of this District in the State. I think by now some have figured out that being a "Big Fish" in the small pond is better than the "Little Fish" in the Big pond. While we here will never agree with everthing that some elected officials do, we do agree that it takes a good person to send to Atlanta to represent us, unlike what we have in the other State office who does very well for representing Atlanta and not for us here in his District. We need someone who will at least answer the phone or return your calls even if they don't agree with you as long as you act respectful with them. While Mr. Scott and I always didn't agree he always had the time to hear my side and at least spoke to me and my concerns. His voting record is there for all to see and while I had hoped he would stay dedicated to the office, he chose to persue other avenues in his life.

Now it's on to the next person who can best serve this county and LISTEN to our concerns and help us become a better county......................
