What has happend? Is their NO CONTROL? My gosh folks! Have we lost our minds? Buying 6 cars because they are going out of style? I just wonder how much S.P.L.O.S.T. MONEY has been SPENT off the last one past. I know the City has spent all theirs on toys but now the County is Spending just as bad. I mean at least let the County pay for some of the things before we spend all the money. It's like we are bailing water in and not out. We hear ever month how sales are down but yet we keep adding to the amount owed. We haven't even began to pay anything on this S.P.L.O.S.T. and we keeping buying? What in the world is going on. And we want to BRAG about money saved????????????? This will be the end of S.P.L.O.S.T. for Dade County if it's not the end of Dade County......

I would like to just say that I have spoken to Commissioners on this issue and would ask others to do the same. I just don't see why we were planning on buying three, might have needed four and buying SIX! How many of you out there needs and car and plans on buying more than one? It just don't make sense. I have heard all about the ACCOUNTABILITY but I have yet to see it.We need to stop patting ourselves on the back and get to the REAL WORK!

Funny how in this economy we as Taxpayers Struggle while our goverment is still buying T.V.'s and new Cars... Wonder how many folks got either for a Christmas Present?

We may all be sick of SPLOST but the rumblings are already in the wind. Both the county and school system is laying in wait for the next chance to pass a new one. How many of these things do we have to pass till the voters figure out that they NEVER do what we are told they are going to do? I can’t think of one that had done what it promised it would do without either the Taxpayers having to pump in more money or some part of it just dropped. So get ready for the Song and Dance because “The SPLOST is Coming…The SPLOST is coming”…
