I had to laugh at all those "Supporters" who voted for Deal who even the local Pastors endorsed is now on the record for Casinos (a building which GAMBLING takes place) in the State of Georgia. Now how will Dade County be able to stop this??? lol..lol..lol... I'm sure we will have "Special Sermons" on the issue to try to "Rally the Troops" but as usual folks in Atlanta could care less what Dade County wants... I can't wait to see how Dade's Buddie Votes on the issue with him being so close to those In Atlanta but needs the "Support" from the locals... Oh Wait, I know... Just like he was on the Sales of AlCOHOL! He was "fer" it and "agin" it and was all twisted up...lol..lol...
Moderator Sonny Dixon, an anchor with WTOC TV, said the format was changed because the Deal campaign “didn’t think it was time for a face-to-face confrontation.”
Nathan Deal is hiding his tax returns from the public. There is no rule stating that you have to release your tax returns; however, most politicians release them. Sonny Perdue and Mark Taylor both released their tax returns in 2006 and Roy Barnes has released the past 25 years of tax returns. Nathan Deal will not do the same.
Savannah - Republican Nathan Deal said Tuesday that as governor he'd be willing to consider casino gambling in Georgia, while Democratic rival Roy Barnes said he's reluctant to legalize potential competition for the state lottery.

Nathan Deal backpedals on support for casinos
Quote:
Republican gubernatorial hopeful Nathan Deal is backpedaling on casinos after at least one prominent Christian conservative activist called to voice concerns.
Deal created a stir when he said earlier this month that he was willing to keep an “open mind” about the possibility of casinos in Georgia.
This week, Deal spokesman Brian Robinson said the former congressman from Gainesville “personally opposes casino gambling” and doesn’t believe they’re the best way to spur the state’s economy. Robinson wouldn’t say whether Deal would sign a veto a casino bill if one landed on his desk.
The campaign of Deal’s opponent, Democrat Roy Barnes, said Deal’s waffling shows he “is too unsteady for the job” of governor

I tried to warn people about the "Real Deal". I predict that more information will come out in the coming weeks and it will be even worse than you already know. We'll see. In any event I'm voting Libertarian, again.

Now we find out that he's been using campaign funds to hire is aide to fly him around in a plane that his privately owned company owns at about 5 times the rate he'd pay for the same service otherwise. The hits just keep on coming.
