I am wondering what this is trending. I am listing the total votes on the Republican side
http://sos.georgia.gov/elections/electi ... 2010_0720/
Governor: 1082
U.S. Senator: 731
SOS: 894
LT. Gov. 694
AG: 796
Agriculture: 786
Labor: 777
PSC: 762
GA9: 957
53rd State Senate District: 1062
House District 2: 823

This is interesting. I left some blank looks like a bunch of other people did also.

What was Martin's total? Looks like Casey "send in Ms. Lewinski" Cagle got the least votes. Looks like word is getting around. We may end up with a Democrat Lt. Gov.

Never mind. Looked it up myself. Looks Like Senator Mullis got less votes in Dade than Martin Scott did and nobody even had to vote for Martin because he's unopposed. After all the campaigning and exposure he still got less votes than someone nobody had to vote for. What can we surmise from this?

Not everone (including myself) pays attention to what is going on in the whole State of Georgia. We get our news from Chatt. and most of our lives are spent in Chatt. in some form or fashion except for the inner circle who depend on this county to feed them. And those folks are to busy worring about what's in it for me to pay much attention to anything unless it benifits them. I have to admit that I also left some blanks and I always vote for the person who's running unapposed if they are doing what I believe a good job. If they are not doing a good job, I leave it blank.

I am loving the sentinels article:
Quote:
With 1,360, or12.73 percent, of Dade’s 10,000-plus estimated voters turning out to be counted, the county on the four local questions on both the Republican and Democratic ballots chose

I got my numbers from the Secratary of States web page. My numbers are of Active Voters.
Quote:
District 1’s Mut Massengale, a Republican, runs with no opposition from either party. He garnered 735 votes

look he got less than Mullis
Quote:
For state senator from the 53rd district, Republican incumbent Jeff Mullis with 738 votes easily defeated challengers

Ahh ha ha ha ha Look Forester got more votes than Mullis and Mut. Remember Forester has not even held office yet.
Quote:
Jeff Forester ran unopposed on the Republican ticket with 791 votes

And our friend got the most:
Quote:
Martin Scott 823votes was unopposed to keep his seat in the Georgia House

As I am now hearing all the totals from "early voting" here in Chatt. it dawned on me that Tennessee Voters are more educated on folks that are running for office. Here in Dade County we have no clue on what is going on because our news and ads comes from Tennessee. The Tennessee politicians have quality ads (if you can call them that) but at least it's not just an ad on "Tha Fluffer". Take yesterday for instance where it was reported that Deal was "agin" the Race for the Money and Handel was "fer" it, and this morning I have read here where Deal has Flip-Flopped on his decision. Wonder if anyone will pick that part of the story up here on the local Chatt. News?

Of course on "Tha Fluffer" Mullis stumped for Deal by saying "At least he knows where Dade County is"... Now that's quality advertising and a GREAT reason to vote for him....lol...lol...
