In starting up this board the site administrators have pretty much left all the options open. If you have suggestions to make the board better please let us know. If you have suggestions for new forums or categories Let us know. We want this to be a community run board.

How about a local events calendar where local political parties, civic organizations, and churches can post upcoming events (similar to the Sentinels back page)?

Mel recently posted in the General Discussion about the growing number of pure bred dog nappings going on in Dade County. Sadly, this discussion might not get the attention it deserves in that category (and with that category being at the bottom of the page). Any way we could have a category for newsworthy items that the local media is refusing to cover? Maybe a "News The Local Media Won't Cover" category?

We are working on letting everone know about this board so that others can join us and not be afraid of making someone mad and pulling their site down. I try to tell everone we have to be able to laugh at ourselves sometimes and when you have worked construction as long as I have, you learn to either turn the other cheek or turn the heat on someone else...lol...lol...
