Well folks I know I haven't had this thread but I miss it from when I started it on another forum. I don't travel as much as before but tonight I ate at a restaurant that inspired me again. I went to eat with the family for my mother in laws birthday. She eats here a lot and is friends with the owner. The restaurant is in downtown Mentone on the main drag. I had the chef special tonight. It was crab stuffed mahi mahi or actually vice versa. It was awsome, some of the best food I have had in a long time. The salad with the meal had a rasberry dressing that was great. Moon was glowing tonight. Just a great atmosphere. The same rules apply as the Canyon Grill in case you like a little vino with your meal. The portobello apitizer could have been a meal on it's own and was the best I have ever had. They had a local guitarist playing that sang and played great. He even played "a little bit of chicken fried" for Odessa. I will be coming back to them in the future. This is a little early to judge but I don't know of a place to eat this good in town(Chattanooga). Look for them next month in Southern Living Magazine I hear.

Yes, that is correct. I usually bring a bottle in a brown bag. That's just because I am not fancy enough to have one of those special bottle carriers that a lot of the patrons have.
