I think that several issues here in the last few years have once again shown the folks in Dade County that it doesn't matter what other folks think. I was driving home late Friday night to be passed by an ambulance trying to get back to Dade County. I have read the press releases put out by Dade County and really wonder if our leadership really gets it. It not about who's fault it is that we don't have enough coverage but how to fix it. You can be too cheap sometimes. No while this issue really don't affect me as much because of living on the North End (about as far to Chatt. to Trenton) but for those who live on the Mnts, and South End, it's a shame that they have to wait on one from the Chatt. area. I'm not laying the blame on anything but trying to stay on Budget and not looking for the well being of Dade County folks. I know several people who are concerned about this issue but have not gotton any info other than ...It's not US that is cutting back.... Well County Commissioners... Yes it is! How about adding to next years budget a full line ambulance service.... That means paying for it. I'm sure that the ambulance service we have now would love to have another ambulance here 24-7, and I know we could all feel alot better....

We are hearing alot about the Library Expansion. Are we trying to convince folks that it's the right thing to do? That in tough times we need to expand a building that servies such a few folks but yet an ambulance service that affects us all isn't that much of a concern? Once again yesterday I have learned that the problem is more serious that first thought. The report was giving by an employee of the service who is concerned for the folks of this County. Funny how common folks like myself are "In the Know" by asking folks who are really "In the Know". We seem either not to want the public to know or just want everthing to seem as Great as we think we have it. Bottom line is that we need to look at the Ambulance Service Issue and try to correct the mistake we made by signing and paying for too little service! Since we seem not to be able to BUY Ambulances like we can FIRETRUCKS.... Do you know how many Firetrucks this county has as to the number of Ambulances? Ever thought of THAT?

And No! It's not Lifeguards fault. It's a COUNTY ISSUE!

Well now that the BIG NEWS weeks is over... Please tell Mr. Stone that it's News, Weather, and Sports... Not Sports is the news for everone... Anyway there are alot of Slow Walkin, Sad Singin folks this morning after the GAME OF THE CENTURY! Seems some adults (who act worse than kids) wanted to make this weeks game bigger than it really was. I really feel bad for the kids (the adults not so much) who had to be a part of last nights game. While I have been out of High School Football for a few years now, I understand the pressure that some folks can put on young players. Yes, as an adult you SUPPORT them but you don't put undue pressure on them. Game of the CENTURY????? Maybe for the adults?????

Now maybe "The Station with the Information" will get back to the "Real World"! If there is one down there in Trenton!

Oh and berfore some might think, Im "agin" the football team... I'm just pointing out how stupid we once again were made to look to the outer circle.... We just can't help but show our "Rasin"!

Maybe if we hired just one more coach or added two more adults on the sideline to maybe take pictures?....lol...lol...lol...

Oh and another thing... I would have never made the post if the adults of Dade County hadn't made it the NEWS all week.... For the rest of the season... Play Hard and Have Fun! Just enjoy these few games you have in life and remember that life is the Game of the Century.... Go Wolverines!!!!!!!!!!! (That is from the Most School Spirit in 1984).....

And to think the Sun came up on Saturday morning and went down Saturday evening and the world turned still on its axis even though a football game was lost.....

How did that church get all that money to buy that large add on? My word, it's huge...
