Seems the Sheriff needs a "Spokesperson" for the Dept. maybe Dade County will realize how stupid he sounds when he has to arrest one of his own and the quote is how he is Heart-Felt the Sheriff is about the arrest and not for the victim is something beyond belief. Now while "everone" is innocent until proven, we all know how hard an arrest against one of their own is. But the POINT to my rant is that The Sheriff, if he wants to look active in this county had better find a better way of doing it than making his own quotes to let the media have it.

DADE COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -- A Dade County Sheriff's deputy has been arrest after an investigation.

Deputy Steven Pryor was arrested and charged with simple battery (family violence).

The investigation showed that an altercation between he and his wife occurred and as a result the arrest was made.

"It saddens my heart when one of our own is arrested for any crime. As the Sheriff of Dade County, it is my job to make sure the citizens are safe and have confidence with the Sheriff's Office. I will also strive to maintain integrity within my Department, and if need be, we at the Sheriff's Office will even make charges against one of our own," says Sheriff Patrick Cannon.

Former Dade County Sheriffs Deputy Steven Pryor was arrested Thursday by Dade County. According to a press release from the Dade County Sheriffs Department.

Seems that "Anger Management" didn't work huh?

Soft words, soft punishment and another VICTIM!

Well wonder who "DROPPED" the charges for anger management classes? Might have been a good question for "Tha Fluffer" to have asked... Oh yea, that's right... Don't ask, Don't tell is still in affect in this County.

Kinda saddens my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta love "Small Town" news. I in "Good Fun" like to call our local Media "Tha Fluffer"! Some might wonder why. Let's look at the compartable media outlets in say a larger town. How many media outlets can get away with such a lack of coverage? News Channel 9 of Chatt. Tn first reported this arrest. They also reported that this being the "Second Offence" and that the other charges had been dropped upon finishing anger managment classes. But here we have a four line post in the Indpendent and read the same on the TV-Radio. But it is soon followed up by "The Station with the Information" commercial that we have all come to love. Just wish it was more than 4 lines at a time. But then you would have to ask questions and in this town that is something that is just not right if you want to stay in the graces of the Good Ole Boys!
