After listening to Ted Rumley and Evan Stone on the radio this morning, I understood that the Courthouse was getting more closer to being completed. But one thing that was left out of the coversation was the need for Courthouse Security. Seems that the Courthouse needs a plan of action on how to secure this new building. I understand that the Chairman (Rumley) has been trying to get in contact with the Sheriff to be able to go over plans to be able to make the Courthouse safe. As I understand that several calls later, it seems that we here in Dade County had to ask the Sheriff from another county to come or send someone to look over the plans and work with the staff of the Courthouse. It's a shame that the Sheriff from this county hasn't even got the time to go over a security plan and we have to go outa area to be able to get questions answered.

Maybe Ted should have asked Mr. Stone to call the Sheriff and then maybe he could have spoken to him that way. I know ever time I have said anything about no one being able to reach the Sheriff, Mr. Stone has assured me that HE is able to get ahold of him anytime. This is just another case of No Accountability here in Dade County and yes, I got the leadership I VOTED "FER" but you can't fool this ole dog three times....lol...lol...lol.... The Sheriff musta thought as like in the Dog Napping case that He knew of NO PROBLEM with the Courthouse Security..... Well at least we have the good folks (and Sheriff) to THANK from Whitfeild County....

I guess that someone needs to inform Mr. Rumley that Major Jackie Womack is the man to speak with down at the Sheriff's office. He can git-r-done!!!!!!!!!!!

I also heard about this issue from a friend of mine in Whitfield County. Seems that they were kind enough to send a Lieutenant from the Whitfield County Sheriff's department to Dade County to consult with the county on courthouse security. The County Executive, evidently, couldn't get the Dade Sheriff to do something that was in his interest and job responsibility, to do. Maybe we could outsource the county's policing to Whitfield. When is Jackie Womack going to move to Dade County to officially run for sheriff. He's already the de-facto sheriff anyway.

As Judge Brian House suggested recently at a GOP event, maybe we could put the sheriff's picture on a milk carton so people will know what he looks like and could keep an eye out for him.

I have to say that it was very nice that the "Past Sheriff" came by last night at the racetrack to offer his condolences of my family's loss. Seem the "Present Sheriff" has been much to busy to send his since he no longer goes to that Church with them. Oh well Dade County at it's best... Oh and on a side note.. Yea we talked about the next time... I told him that for sure I knew who I wasn't gonna help or even push the button for....lol..lol... Such a Shame that this young man threw away the best thing that this County had to offer. A position in which you could help this County and still get paid... Still makes me MAD!

And yea Ben, he deserves a RECALL also.... After all these years of having to work for a paycheck, I feel that is what we made a commiment to do. But I now know that an election really isn't hiring a person as much as giving them the right to do as they see fit.....

Too funny. When my daughter was on jury duty, the sheriff came in and no one knew who he was - except for the courthouse folks.

Looking back a little if you remember the big point was made that “Local Contractors” would be used to build the new courthouse so we would have “JOBS” in the County. After several months I have only seen 2 Local Contractors on the job, the dirt work and the HVAC Company. I guess we don’t have any steel workers, Plumbers, Electricians or Masons who live in the county. Just wondering……

Well at least the "Big Money Man" lives right cheer in Dade County! After all he's from around here! And he's pretty good at Bidding on our local jobs.. Did I say bidding???? I mean getting the price where we need it to be over the table..... At least for our local media to report on. It will continue till someone does an actually investigation on what goes on in this small town bidding. Kinda like the media finally done some actually reporting on the screwed up Judicial System in our area and look what's happening now.

Not much get's built here in Dade County but County Buildings and New Churches! Oh and the Brock Building that the City should own since it's on the ride of way of the street! Whhooppps did I say that??? And look at the Parking lot that new Building now has...lol...lol...lol... Another JOKE!
