Ealier this month Mullis was tapped by Governor-Elect Nathan Deal to serve on his transition team.
“Senator Mullis is a trusted adviser who is not only a public servant, but also a dear friend,” said Deal. “I have the great fortune of having a tremendously experienced transition team, which will assure a seamless transfer of power on January 10. Jeff will serve an important role in this process.”
