I believe the way the bill is written now it would be interpreted the walking distance from the door of the church along the sidewalk to the business door not the property line. The courts have ruled the means of ordinary travel is how the distance is to be interpreted. So if this passed it would possibly nullify the city distance ordinance and make it less restrictive on those infidels restaurants in my opinion.
