Our esteemed State Senator “Maglev” Jeff Mullis suffered a “Brain Fart” today as he addressed the locals at the Veterans Park in Lovely Downtown Trenton today. He seems to have a touch of the “Oops” problem that his man for President Rick Perry has. The main difference is Perry just forgets where he is but “Maglev” just keeps on talking. He Changed history today and stated the Battle of the Bulge was fought BEFORE the Normandy Landing. However he said he was a Politician and I can assure you he is that… because He is sure not a Historian… As always with when you don’t know the order just “Wing” it and he did just that. Saw a lot of old Vets Snickering at what he said… And ladies and Gentleman this is the Guy who wants to build a railroad and let us pay for it.

This can only remind me of a quote from a famous soldier.

Not only did “Maglev the Magnificent” re-write history it was reported from several sources he had his shorts in a wad and his nose out of joint because HE did not approve of the people sitting in the gazebo with him. I did notice that after he re-wrote the history of WWII he left the stage to go hobnob in the audience with “His” supporters instead of listening to the other people speaking…

What makes this even funnier is the fact that his main "Cheerleader" could not resist putting his picture and posting a little story about him speaking at the function. I for one am so glad that one media outlet can find a true speaker for the cause of this very special day to stand before heros of this nation and speak of his father. I too had a father who served this nation during WW II and am very proud of him also.............

I wish I was there to see him and Ben on the same stage together. If it bothered him that much maybe we need to pitch in gas money to send Ben to all the next regional t-splost meetings.

I'm told that the good Senator had a "hissy fit" with the organizers who had the audacity to allow the former commander of the American Legion Post (me) to occupy the same stage as the esteemed servant of the people. (although he's been known to say he doesn't really need Dade County to get reelected). You'd think that since he's given that same tired speech for years he could give it without a problem wouldn't you? Since he was reading it from a prepared text I can only assume it was written the way he delivered it which makes it worse. As I sat there listening to him drone on about being against all big government programs except the ones he's for that would get him reelected (and high speed rail you know, I didn't nickname him "Maglev" for no reason) I thought I mis-heard him say the part about Normandy happening 3 days after the Battle of the Bulge where my father also served. My doubt was erased shortly afterward when 3 different people came up to me and said they heard the same thing.

I may have to attend more of the senator's speaking engagements. Can someone make me a "Re-elect Maglev" sign to hold up?

As "Maglev the Magnificent" stated in his speech and I quote" I am a Politician" he surcribes to the old addage "If you don't know the facts... baffel them with Bull S..t. And Wreck you are right He does not need us to be re-elected. He just needs the 10's of thousands of dollars our county pays him so he can give it to other politicans so he can increase his power to get wined and dined from people who want political favors...

People were still "talking" about the "hissy fit" Sat. nite at the Firemans Chili Cookoff.... I have to admit, I laughed a litte as it brought up the ole days.. But you gotta admit that ole Jeff has Dade Countys number and knows when to "Dial it UP".......

Not to worry though, Mullis shows his "True Colors" when it comes to anyone that might disagree with him or know more about an issue. That's why he was able to run off-stage to his "Big Supporters" and get his "Feel Good" back..... Don't forget the number six (Big Supporters), I talked about on the beer and wine issue.... Same ole...Same ole......

“Maglev the Magnificent” may think he has his re-election train on the right track… but from the post on another thread there may be another train on the track too. So when he looks down the track thru the tunnel of his perceived victory… he may see a “Big” Light heading his way.

Speaking of Jeff Mullis and Rick Perry! How long before "Tha Fluffer" has a picture of Mullis and Newt together now that Rick Perry is out???????? I just hope that Newt is pretty close or Jeff has some "Frequent Flyer Miles" to "Bring back information" and a picture of Him casting his support behind ole Newt now!
