Now that Mr. Swader had gotton the perfect job, let's look at how it all has played out... Since Football is the only BIG THING in Dade County and we all know that "Little Johnny" is the next big star, we are convinced that it is by far the leading issue here in the County. Back in the 80's when NWG had to play "In Region" against Rome schools we used to get our eyes drilled out. Then someone came up with the idea of "Dropping Out" of the Region for a year and the team (not having to play any quality school teams) went un-defeted. Ever since that time it has been said that Football Team was the BEST! If you look and listen to the players and parents of that team you would think they would have won State (not a chance since they didn't even play in Region). But this era of Football has caused this problem here in Dade County. Mr. Warren who was a member of (that team) went on to be a Coach with some pretty good schools and now has "came home" to bring in a "Dream Team". I just wonder how much push was made on the school system for Swader from the Coach seeing how they were on the same team during this time.. It just goes to show you how much we put into wanting a Football Team above needing quality citizens from Dade County. I lay this issue on the Doorstep of Mr. Warren (who is from around here) and the pressure of folks who think that this School System will ever be anything in Football. I got news for all of Dade County... It will never happen as long as they have to compete with Atlanta and South Georgia Schools..... NOT A CHANCE!

Dade county is not "diverse" enough to win a state football championship. The bad news is that the school system is raising the millage rate so DCHS can still play football. The good news is that DCHS failed to make AYP for the second year in a row. Wait, that's not good news. We should be sending kids to school to get an education, not play football. Never mind.

I have been to alot of other High School Football games back in the day... Dade County with any coach will never be ready for a Championship. So now we have the "Chosen One" and he is making the choice on hiring Swader? Pressure HAD to come from somewhere... I know that Gifford isn't that connected!...lol..lol...lol...
I can't help but think that 4 people in the School System thought it was a good idea to Hire someone with the track record of Swader.....And I don't even want the job, just don't understand how more folks can't see that those 4 sent the wrong message to our young people. I know it's the school system and they can raise taxes and hire coaches and pay P.E. Teachers to be a Principal until he retires but give me a break....
So I guess that is what Swader is looking at... Being a P.E. Teacher and becoming a principal and retiring? Like his ole buddy Billy???? lol...lol..lol..
