I was so up-lifted while listening to our Great Senator speak on behalf of Dade County this morning. I found it wonderful that the "in the ditches" gang of Mr. Mullis and Mr. Media were such good friends that they are able to get such Great Things done here for Dade County. I guess you get a political favor where you can, I just find it funny that is all we want here in Dade County.

Hope he'll be okay! Remember, EVERYTHING in moderation!!! BTW, a biopsy seems a little aggressive (unless checking for NASH) according to the Liver Foundation.
Eating excess calories causes fat to build up in the liver.
What is the best way to prevent fatty liver?
The best way to reduce your risk of developing fatty liver is to maintain a healthy weight and normal triglyceride levels. You should also avoid excess alcohol and other substances that could harm your liver"
"I will be having a liver biopsy on Tuesday to diagnose a liver condition that I have been dealing with for about six years.
I appreciate several of you who have linked to this thread from another site in my community for calling me with your revelation, information and confirmation.

Here Pastor D describes his actual condition:
"I weighed in this morning, and I have reached my second weight goal. I have now lost 25 lbs since Christmas! I have 15 lbs to go.
You inspired me back in December! I feel better than I have in several years. I have been diagnosed with fatty liver disease. I just had my enzyme levels checked last week, and two out of three enzyme levels were normal! The other has dropped significantly. My doc told me that it was a direct result of the cardio and weight loss. I realized that I have a family that depends on my health. That realization made it easy to pass on the bread and deserts. I just find the whole thing funny that some will go to great links to get the attention they think they deserve and it must be a complex that they have to seek the attention. When you post everday about your life and think that others really care outside of your circle, it must must devastating to your ego that some don't really care and find it amusing that you can get so worked up over the fact that someone points out the mis-leading information you have been spreading. Self promotion to me is a total waste of time, and gets little if anything done for the people we are called to lead. I have seen this issue time and again in all forms in this small county. When you HAVE to work so hard to try to be that BIG FISH in the little pond, I just find it sad. Most of those who seek the attention need to learn to lead and work at becoming a better leader than worring about promoting themselves to others. It is my hope that someday others will see past themselves to those who need leadership and not have to hear or read all about how wonderful the leader thinks they are or how great of a job they think they are doing.
