Well Mr. Stone might have to confer with both his Preacher and his Sunday School teacher on the fact of what and why of a "SIN TAX"... I about laughed my butt off on taking my "Dictate Moral" and try to turn it around by saying the Goverment can use the "Sin Tax" to dictate moral on the radio this morning...... First of all ... It's just a NAME..... It will cover such things as Drinking sodas (which Mr. Stone does quite often) and bubble gum and other things as bottled water in some states... Second thing is that although he tried to make it an aurgrement we also have such a thing as "Pork Barrel" projects and that in no way means they are selling pork by the barrel..... So try as you may with you and "Your Possie" you might want to re-think your approach on Dictateing Moral.... Keep up the good fight but at least bring qualified arugment to the table.....

Well good luck with that...I can confidently state (with MANY years of personal experience with two of these folks - know them far better than I wish I did) that of the three main players we've discussed in this particular thread, two of them aren't much qualified to speak to a pair of worn socks on much of anything...

Of course, one of those two is quite the author...makes a heck of a TV guest during his media tours to promote books that don't even exist - LOL!!! Ah, the power of the bully pulpit! How come no one in Dade County ever asks questions?

I was telling someone today... You can go into the ole Golden Gallon and BUY a Hot Dog and a bag of chips along with a "Tall Boy" (which makes it 70% food sales) and it's just fine... Or heck for that matter you don't even have to buy the Hot Dog or the Chips... Just buy the "Tall Boy" and that's fine... Does anyone else see the logic in that? HHHMMM I bet the ole "Fluffer" would have something BRILLIANT to say about that....lol...lol... While he's in there getting his Soda Pop that is also considered a SIN since it has a tax placed on it....lol...lol...

How come no one in Dade County ever asks questions?

I have asked "THAT QUESTION" for many years. But we all know the answer to this one. Why ask when you already know the answer but are afraid to have it known by the "Outer Circle" who really don't pay attention.

I think that most have figured out these you speak of and the best they can come up with is ... "Well you know how they are"! But when you are in the "Leadership Role" that just doesn't cut it with me... I have been told that it's personal with me but that is only to COVER the fact that they are doing wrong. Blaming the messenger has been used since the beginning of time....

Is it true that no one brought up the "alarming" statistic regarding 85% of the cause of Dade County's crime at the city meeting last night? It is simply amazing to me that the folks with this "alarming" information aren't sounding the alarm! Why are Attorney John Emmett and Pastor J David Smith (of Trenton Ministry Center) not spreading this "alarming" statistic to the community?
