Even though I still believe that we spend way to much for Coaches for this area, I will say that this Coach does get it.
Our players gave us tremendous effort all season long. In fact, I felt like several times we overachieved and played with a tremendous amount of heart and tenacity. Friday, like in the Calhoun game, depth was a key issue. We are going to have to build quality depth in our program if we want to grow and advance into a state power over the next several years. It only comes with time, dedication and hard work.
It was a great honor and privilege to coach this Dade County team. I can’t write or say to you how proud I am of the effort and work our boys put into making this football season a success and laying the ground work for a winning tradition here in Dade County. This is a little known fact but one we are extremely proud of as a program this year. Our overall football program that our coaches work with every day came away with a record of 28 wins 3 losses and 1 tie for the 2010 season.
I would like to thank the Dade County community for being so supportive to our team this year. It was really great to see such tremendous turnouts both home and on the road. My hopes are that you came away with a feeling of pride and joy from seeing a football team that had been down so long achieve so much this season.

But we shall never forget all those who have came before and not seen such a winning season. A winning season does not make the man.... The man makes it a winning season long after the games are finished......................
