Apparently school supplies are a HUGE need by parents in Dade County, and elsewhere. One of my friends at Cornerstone said they had school supplies for 50 students and ran out fairly quickly. They took names and are ordering additional supplies for those who showed up later. Cornerstone even had people showing up from Ider. Rising Fawn Baptist also said they had a lot of phone calls already and expected a big turnout. Their supplies are limited, too.

Money is so tight for alot of people that have lost their jobs. Thank goodness for all the help the churches are doing.

And a BIG hand to Becky Page for getting the message out. That lady is a great asset to Dade County. She well deserved citizen of the year award. Isn't that the award she got?
