. State of Georgia crows about an 8.1% rise in the sales tax collections! I have to wonder, how much of that increase is due to higher Fuel Prices and thus more tax collected. Even though the taxes are increasing the cost of things we need and use to go to work is continuing to rise. The sales tax will continue to rise in that the thing we need to live and work will cost more and as a result will bring in more tax money for the State to spend on need things like say, Maglev Trains.
