I have spent the last three days listening to the scanner of our local officals talking about road conditions here in Dade County. Anyone who believes that the State has done all it could would be just as Big of a Joke as the D.O.T is. Even still hearing that the State is working on the Interstates is nothing more than a LIE! While folks have to be able to get to work and count on safer roads best know that when it comes to the State Roads it's still very dangerous. The real issue I have is our LOCAL Politicians want to "SUCK UP" and think that is gonna help bring money and help into this County. I think this shows that this County will ALWAYS be the "Red-Headed Step Child" of the State.

I want to however THANK those regular folks (taxpayers) who have had their very own equipment out on the roads trying to help. I live on a State road and have yet to see any State vehicle as of yet. Thanks to local folks who have done their best to make it safer for those who had to get to work. As I have said... Georgia D.O.T. is a JOKE with all the taxes this State receives and have a guage of two other states (TN and ALA) to compare it to, just goes to show you that I ain't WRONG!

@ 2:15 The GA. D.O.T.STATE Truck has passed. At least NOW we have the road scraped and gravel spread. Was great to see our tax dollars at work!!!!!!!!!!!! lol...lol..lol... Thanks for NUTHIN!

Once again weare the victims of no Political Power, No Rep. No Senator in this county. As long as we are willing to settle for "Crumb's" Crumb's is what we will get. With our Great and Powerful State Senator "Maglev"Mullis is repesenting us and in charge of GDOT we will continue to get Icy Roads. Heard that GDOT had Three State Trucks (Count them... Three) assigned to a county with 2 major interstate roads. One without a transmission 1 with a broken Axle and One (Count it...One) to work on the road... Rex I guess that is the one you saw go by your house...However Hy 136 and 301 on top of Sand Mt is still looking for it.

I happen to be watching the State of the State address last night when all of a sudden appeared "Our Senator" walking with "Our Governor" shaking hands and giving out hugs. It was plain funny to see Mullis ACT like somebody important. He is the "Class Clown of the Senate", and everone laughs AT him and not with him... Wished someone would tell him that.

Having said that now that News Channel 12 is on top of the issue, funny how "Our Media Boy" is gonna get to the bottom of it... lol..lol.. Maybe he should call his Buddie Mullis and ask him to help?????? lol...lol... What a Joke. Ga. D.O.T. is in Big Trouble on this one.

Oh and you are right OT, the county spent yesterday "Working" on the Ga D.O.T. trucks and today are sending our County vehicles to do the work.... I guess Mullis Got that done.......

Well I am Sure that "Maglev" will see to it the county is "Payed" to do the State work. Guess theo private individual who scraped the state routes because the state was so illprepaired will just have to "Suck it UP" and live with the satisifaction they could do what the State could not do. I fit in the last Catagory...and Proud of it!

Folks who could, did step up and scrape rds and help folks. Just ask the Sheriff's office how many times they relyed on the help of Good Folks. We want to PAT our folks who's J.O.B. it is to get it done but forget about people who are just plain good folks.

Well GDOT made National News this morning because of the poor condition of the Roads in Ga due to the storm. Just think "Maglev" Mullis is a "Mover and Shaker" in GDOT... An to think he wants to run a Railroad...Can't wait for that one... Get on a train to Atlanta and end up in Nome Alaska!!!!

Can't wait till he comes over the Mtn after the spring thaw and tell the "Girls" what a great job he did keeping us up and running...

You can bet the "Maglev Mullis" has already laid the groundwork of excuses with his followers.

Like I said, it's funny that "Our Leadership" wants to try to convince us that since Deal knows where Dade County is and has been here and Mullis is in the top 100 of Georgia's most "Whatever" that we can see things finally get done here in Dade County. Simple minds think like that I guess.

Dade County will never be anything to the State of Georgia. That is a Fact that I have learned a long time ago. But then again there is ALOT of Counties that are in the same boat as us. The money always stays in or around Atlanta. Always has and always WILL.

The BEST comedy radio is when Mr. Mullis calls in on the KWN radio show. This morning over a hot cup of coffee, I listened to the biggest bunch of crap that could be dished out in under ten minutes. As WE ALL KNOW they served together "In the Ditches" Mullis the "Fireman" and Stone the "Ambulance Man" pat each other and talked of Mutual Aid for such things as 8 inch snows. Mullis has also said to be having legisation drawn up to hire "Private Contractors" to help with clean up. This 8 inch snow issue started a long time before now but no one wanted to mention that. It's not about the SNOW but the fall of the Ga. D.O.T. to which Mr. Mullis sits on the front row of. Like I have said it may work for folks who don't have two other states to compare Georgia to, but we do. We SEE the problem even if the "Ditch Brothers" don't.
