According to the DCA website as of 2/22/2010 The Following entities: This local government authority is not currently registered with DCA, and is prohibited under state law from incurring any debt or credit obligations until their registration is updated.: Dade County Industrial Development Authority City of Trenton Downtown Development Authority

Did anyone else see this weeks Sentinel? How funny. Let's see they have had over a million dollars of taxpayer money and not shown up at any meeting (well one to say that they would be at the next one) which they wasn't. Now they want to complain about not getting paid? When will this county realize that you have to have qualified people on a board who want to get something done for Dade County and not just play the game of (well I'm on the Board). That is why this county is so far behind is because we appoint people who will do nothing but "Be" on the board. Where o where is the accountability?

Follow up to last week now say the IDA is in compliance with the State. It's nice to see when a little accountability goes a long way in doing what was their job to begin with. Don't know what your job is??????... Then FIND OUT! You have been placed on the board (and accepted the position) it's time to do sumthin........lol...lol...lol..

Don't know why they think everthing is so HUSH-HUSH on the proposed new Industril Park site... But I found it funny that it too has ROCK and a Blue Line! And yea, I remember where I heard it FIRST! But funny thing is that I seen it with my own eyes also.... Gotta love people who PAY ATTENTION!
