As predicted earlier in this thread Dade County has been made a “Tier One” County. After being told with a straight face this would not happen it has now come to pass. So much for all the BS a group of county leaders and farmers was fed by an Official from UGA Extension Service that this would not happen. Now we have only part time staff and NO Farmer services or any other services available to us, only core 4-H services will be in place. This effectively kills a County who had one of the best Extension Programs in the State of Georgia. And my feeling is they are not done yet!!!!
