Well sort of....... Lookout Valley is now getting a "Quality Resturant" that serves a "Real Steak"! Those of us who will be eating there are pleased as punch about this business coming into the area. Wonder how many folks that don't want any beer sold at Resturants will be eating there?????? lol...lol...lol...

I'm writing a book called "Forgiveness... Overcoming Bitterness Caused By Stepping On Spent Peanut Shells In A Logan's Roadhouse". I realize the title is a little lengthy, but I've retained an ACLU attorney to defend any suits caused by someone tripping over the title. Promotion on the book is to begin with a BIG media tour on WKWN... as soon as I actually have a book to publish...BUT the cover is done: REAL pretty...!
Sorry, just had to take a shot! I'm still not ready to make nice... Actually, I'm in the process of healing / moving on...humor helps... AND so will my blog... stay tuned...
Seriously, this is great news for all us northenders, but especially for the southenders who have to drive thru Trenton plus the distance we northenders are accustomed to drive for a fun/family-friendly atmosphere with good/affordable finer dining!!! Now, all we need is a Champy's!!!

I am exited. If I go to the South on 59 I can get to a steak house. Ryans, Golden Coral, or that other one that name slips me. If I go west on 24 I can get to western sizzler. Now if I go East I can get to Logans. We are doing it right when it comes to economic development folks. We now have all three directions covered with Steakhouses. Our position of forcing our morals, has lead to a new theme song for the Dade economic team. Just change the lyrics a little:

Actually this will be a wind fall or Dade County in that we can build a Sheriff’s Sub Station (With SPLOST Funds of course) in the north End so that we can catch all the Liquored Up Alabama Drivers (We know no one in Dade County EVER takes a Snort of that evil firewater) as they return home from a long night at the bar. With all the money we can get from the arrests and fines along with building a large boom in the Bonding Business we will see money flowing in the County Treasury by the wagon load. Forget all the need for jobs to help hold down taxes we will have Logan’s to thank for lower Taxes and I know that Rex Blevins will once again be happy in that there will be extra money that can be put into the School budget and they can hire more Coaches…Oops I mean Teachers …my bad… and he want have to worry about getting it from the old people of the county.

Let’s see how long it will be before a lobbyist reports a meal for “Maglev” at this fine eating and (Gasp) drinking establishment. Being it will be the only place close to Dade County to close a “Deal” to get new Jobs here….

Let me go "On the record" to say that I had better NOT catch one person who was "agin" the resturants selling Malt Beverages eating at my Logan's Resturant. It's funny how many folks who didn't want the Wal-Mart being here seem to shop at it. Now that there is a Resturant close to my house that serves something other than a "All you can stuff your face with" I don't need to see your face eating there. Just goes to reason that if you didn't want Dade County to have something that you DON'T support it somewhere else.
On a side note, looks as if by the end of the summer, I will be eating at Logan's!!!!!!!!!!!! And so will alot of "Other Dade County Folks"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Rex it will be like the Walmart Situation if their predictions hold true. With Walmart we lost the revenue. With Logans if it as they say will get the drunks and the loss of revenue. Between Ft Payne to the South, Tiftonia to the North, Town of Lookout Mtn to the NE, looks like the only safe place to go is Sand Mtn..lol
