The Good Ole Boy System took a MAJOR hit last meeting, having to change it's ordinance on a Methadone Clinic. This county leadership better learn that they can't keep ever business that they don't like or can't make money from has ever right to be here. Much like the "Stink Ordinance" that was passed when they THOUGHT that the business on the North end would be a Paper Mill when in fact it was just a business that made paper products. We need more educated leadership in place to move this county forward but we will always remain the "Ready, Fire, Aim county that is left behind.
I did find it funny when "Tha Fluffer" announced on the radio that "Minor" changes were made when in fact it went from... NO Clinic to well, we will have to follow State Guidelines... Some more of that "Fair and Balanced"... "Need to Know" bullcrap that is fed to this county ever day... And the Kicker.... We are doing this to SAVE the county money from fighting a LAWSUIT! Brought on by WHO? Yep, the same commission.... How funny is that????????????

It really fits in with the Hippos and Good ole Boys that are here now................ But then again the City can't figure out whether to issue a permit without talking to a lawyer now!

Wow, this is ironic!
"We need more educated leadership in place to move this county forward but we will always remain the "Ready, Fire, Aim county that is left behind."
I've been away from the board for a while.

Well looks as if I am WRONG again!...lol.. When it comes to Dade County that easy enough to be....lol.. Anyway we now don't like the business that has placed signs advertising "internet gambling" so everone can see who ain't from around here that we have a issue that we hear on Sundays that might make us look bad. So what do we do????????? Just ask poor ole Robin Rodgers to "Draft" another ordinance to KEEP OUT such buiness as we see fit. Now I bet some folks will think that I believe that gambling is fine... Not for Me personally but when it's not against the law I don't need a law to tell me that it's wrong on ever issue. Yea I know what the Sheriff said, I watched the re-play (what you could hear of it). But I could say that I think that Golf Carts should have an ordinance against them. They get kids hurt and you could use them to rob a bank but I happen to love mine and am glad to have purchased it at a local store (T&T Golf Carts) so I don't want an ordinance to ban Golf Carts sold in this County... My whole point is... You can't make a law "AGAINST" everthing you don't agree with....Commen Sense should override Stupidity.........................
A google search on Midtown Vending will show court cases in which Midtown argued their machines were not gambling machines. I will let you do that and make your own conclusions. The links will take a second to pull up.

Here you go again with all this "research" just to uncover that Mullis takes money from the very folks that the Sheriff wants to put out of business but on the other hand the Sheriff needs Mullis to send him money for his campaign. Wow, what a tight web we weave....
Most folks would never thought to check into Mullis's donors to see what business supports his campaigns, but when you do, it will suprise alot of folks. Well at least those who want to see what the truth really is....
Some want to stay simple and just be proud that he's here to get a picture made about once a month..... Not to mention his buddy on the radio!!!! lol...lol..lol...

Look at the quote that Sheriff Cannon used Thursday nite as taken from the Sentinel...........
“It says in the front window, ‘Win cash,’ ” the sheriff said of one of them. “By law, they can’t gamble for cash.”
Cannon said _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Lottery is not Gambling??????? Oh I forgot!!!!! It's fer the kids!!!!!!!!!!
And most places that sell lottery tickets pay in what??????? CASH!
