Though it is dangerous to use cell phone jammers something should be done. I'm a senior in High School and the most I have ever used a cell phone was after school hours to get a ride home. Yet these devices are a problem, as I see a wide range of students using them in class. Something does need to be done..

Hey Dade's Danger, Eyes do the teachers and administrators not have eyes? You SEE them what about the person paid to see what's going on in the classroom? Maybe you can explain to us taxpayers what is going on and why this is happening. I would LOVE you to educate us on this issue. Welcome to the Board and you have the floor my friend!

Well I was hoping for a report here from the Trenton Terror but anyway, Mrs. Priest has announced that cell phones and such are NOT to be used during school time. WOW, it's just taken this long to figure that out?

I think they came to an excellent resolution -- if they can keep the parents on the same page about it. I mean it would require a parent to go to the school and pick up confiscated goods, that is asking a lot, this is the SCHOOLS problem not theirs.

Racin, they have eyes, but it's easily to use a cell phone now without looking to text. It can be hard at times for a teacher to tell if their hands are just in their lap or if they are texting. The policy of cell phones only being used after school hours do nothing. Rules will always be broken, and the rule of cell phones are easily broken.
I propose a more strict solution, honestly. Just getting your parents to get yoru cell phone back does nothing. I do wish they would take that rule and give a real punishment. Even ISS or soemthing. That is my personal opinion though.
Also, just call me Billie. The Dade's Danger and other stuff like that is an inside joke and thought I would add it to my signature.
