I wonder what the net loss to all of the counties in NW Georgia has been over the last couple of years? I bet we will hear all kinds of excuses but, then I look at Dekalb, AL and they seem to be adding industries all the time.

I really hate hearing this because I know some Dade County folks that work there..... And the chance of them finding work here is slim to none... Most aren't "KIN" to folks in high places...lol...lol...

State Sen. Jeff Mullis of Chickamauga was “shocked and surprised” to learn of the closure from Al Hutchison at Georgia Northwestern Technical College, who notified several local leaders on Thursday of the imminent plant closing.

“Our job now will be to do everything we can to find a replacement company to recruit to Walker County,” Mullis said.

Northwest Georgia Joint Development Authority, which Mullis heads up, is planning to work with the Georgia Department of Labor on a job fair for the displaced Blue Bird employees.

We can see how wonderful has has done with the Trenton Shaw Plant along with all the other plant closing. But let's face it folks, We spend time looking at what is being done and not just listening to a bunch of HOT AIR!

State Sen. Jeff Mullis of Chickamauga was “shocked and surprised” to learn of the closure from Al Hutchison at Georgia Northwestern Technical College, who notified several local leaders on Thursday of the imminent plant closing.

Guess he didn't answer the phone call or call him back to find out what was going on....lol...lol...

Maglev "shocked and surprised"? He really has his finger on the pulse of economic development in the area doesn't he?
