Commisioner Goff in his State of the Union address told the citizens of Dade County not to believe what it written on Blog sites. I would like to remind Mr. Goff, who used to claim to be Chairman of the "Citizens Watch Group" (where are they now that Ben has left office?) that blog sites are very useful ways to get the fact out to those who are now on the computer ever day. We all know that politicians LIE and Media FLUFFS and CURVES to sway it's readers and listeners to their beliefs.

I find it funny that we in Dade County LOVE our "Facebook" where we can tell everone how wonderful our life is and promote ourselves going to the bathroom, but have a problem with a blog site that has facts to back up what is posted. Although David does alot better at re-searching than myself, we strive to get the "Facts" out about what's going on in Dade County. We spend alot of time receiving phone calls and looking up and listening to the "Outer Circle" and post in here for everone to read. We may not always get it right but we strive to not "Sugar Coat" everthing.

Could it be that Blog Sites such as this one cast the light on the Good Ole Boys and the system for which they control? This issue with the Judge is just one of the issues that would have been swept under the rug had it not been re-searched by a poster on this site. The Judge herself didn't fully understand the new law or she intended on breaking the law one. Now I have to believe that she didn't mean to break the law, and it was like she said. She had put the cart before the horse. The commissioners wasn't sure of the law either and it had to be pointed out to them. Just because we don't agree with the politicians don't mean we have anything against them personally as some seem to have. But don't think for one minute that we are gonna drop this site just because one commissioner takes it upon himself to tell others not to read Blog sites. We fully understand that some commissioners, elected officials and some media don't like this blog site, but then again I don't care to much for "Fakebook" either. Never have figured out how we think that someone cares what we are doing 24-7 and then complains when caught in lies and calls it stalking when you have posted your whole life on the internet...

Well, just to let folks know, I had debated calling Mr. Goff all weekend but choose to e-mail him and I have to say that I got a much faster response than I expected. I just wanted to know if he was referring to any certain blog site and he assured me that it wasn't any certain one and not directly at this one. I would like to take this time and space to "THANK" Mr. Goff in responding to my e-mail question and let folks know that he will answer your e-mail and phone call with questions... We will from time to time disagree on certain things but I feel confident that at least he will respond to my questions.
