Just another case of needing the attention of the media to make people believe we have a real problem here in Dade County and a Shelter would fix the problem. I have all along said that this county could use a shelter but in no way agree that this will fix the problem of animal abuse. Both times the media were called in for a case that was not really the problem but the animal abuse overroad the story by taking away from the real issue of the kids and the help this man really needed. I just hope that people will figure out what is going on here and see that there is an issue with the agenda of those who are pushing so hard for the shelter. I would like to think that the people of Dade County are smart enough to see for themselves what is going on here. I know that I was....

Well you know that Catoosa & Walker have shelters -- not to mention Chatt, that doesn't stop 'animal abusers' the REAL malicious kind. When I lived in Chickamauaga the guy with cows next door never did anything with his cows -- several died in calf and he just let them rot in the field. When one died just 100 feet from my front door I called the health dept, the sheriffs office and the Extension Office they told me there really was very little they could do. So here in Dade this is a jailable crime....

Now seems our local Media Mogal thinks by promoting how well the Sheriff has done by busting up this abuse ring that will help his image. Just another attempt at an agenda to make everone look good by the person who really needed help years ago. Oh what fun they have just sitting back patting each other on the back telling how wonderful they are. I laugh ever time I think of what my father-in-law calls it.... "Polishing each others Armour"

The stabbing of the dog might be considered animal abuse, but the other part of the "case" should be neglect. But we have to sensationalize to get a story.

Shelters, Laws, PETA, USHS or any other group could not have prevented this Case... It appears we have a disturbed or unstable individual who is in need of help to deal with the problems in their life. But however the best we have to offer is to throw them in jail and hope that at some point in time we will be able to get them some help. Seems like that the waiting time for a person is from 5 to 8 months to get the help they need. While they wait NOTHING can be done for them because they are in Jail. Here is a good example of how well the Goverment Health System Works... don't you all want a system where when you need help...you too can wait 5 to 8 months for it. The Mental Health System is 100% a Goverment Funded System and you see how well its is working.
The choices that are available now is put people who need help.. on the Street... or in Jail... What a choice...

Kinda makes me wonder if they county there had an animal shelter... I mean after all if they don't then they should have someone on T.V. Complaining about this act and getting all the press they can...
